Quark Wood is an iconic piece designed by French designer Emmanuel Babled, already a classic in the history of contemporary design. Its organic shape gives the object a strong sculptural presence, while offering a flat top that can eventually be used as a coffee table; the form overcomes the function. This special version in Zebrano showcases the veins of this wood, giving it a strong linear pattern on top that contrasts with the rhythmic patterns of the body.
 
The Quark series of low coffee tables is composed of unique monoliths that honour and value their materials and production techniques. Every specimen of the Quark edition is skilfully produced by master cabinetmaker Anders Lunderskov.
 
The name Quark refers to a fundamental particle constituent of matter. The variety of sizes and materials of this piece reflects the diversity of humankind in its traditions and abilities.
