The Origin table is presented in wood for the first time. Composed by a single subversive surface made of rosewood, this is a surrealistic drawing where the bottom becomes the top and vice-versa.

The void in the middle can be seen as a blackhole, sucking in our attention, our perception, and our matter… or as a belly button, the origin of humanity, in an infinite loop.

Origin is a low table, originally produced in Carrara marble in Italy. This table is part of designer Emmanuel Babled’s continuous work of reinterpreting classic materials and techniques

The wood version, produced by master cabinetmaker Anders Lunderskov, can be made in different types of timber. Every piece is coined with the Italian high-quality stamp.
