Pleats vases, with their multifaceted, light, and delicate cloth-like appearance, speak of the natural poetic beauty of wood and invite people to touch them.
A part of the wood slab was cut into many pieces with an axe and placed according to the fitting seams. These were then put together to form four different panels. The inner surfaces were carved by hand using wood gouges. After the four sides had been joined together to form a rigid body, the soft part of the wood grain on the exterior surfaces was brushed-off in various hardness to create the pleats-like appearance.
